I didn't keep a day to day log this month as I did not get that much done. That new "Magnum" G5 Mac is just too much fun to leave alone!

I gave the ailerons the second and third coat of Polybrush, after going over the rough spots with the small iron at 250 degrees. I is hot outside, and even though I am diluting the dope 1:3 with retarder/reducer, it dries very fast and leaves brushmarks, which is not a problem in my case anyhow.

I cut all the trim plates for the wings fittings out of aluminium from the cardboard patterns.

I antiqued the fabric on the rudder and the ailerons.
I added mounting blocks for the pilot's seat belts both on top and bottom of the member behind the seat.
I made a pair of 1" wide aluminum plates to bolt on the underside of the seat belt mount, and hooked a steel cable to it.

The cable is going all the way to the back fitting bolted to the tailwheel post and back to the other seat belt bracket.

Cut two slots for the seat belts in the wall behind the pilot seat .
Antiqued the stabilizer and the elevator.
